Yeah I'm back home. I've been back since the 10th. I've been catching up with lawns and just started tackling some projects on the truck. Are you planning on modding the f-150 much?

 

just little stuff. i put a tonneau cover on it and than i am gonna do CAI and tuner. It came with exhaust so i don't have to worry about that. Also its gonna need new tires soon. But thats it.

 

Don't those tuners pull out a decent amount more power on the domestics? It's weird how much more they can do with them than with Japanese vehicles. You sticking with a better road tire or are you going to go with some mt's?

 

The tuners will give me about 20-30 more hp and about 40-50torque since i will have the intake and exhaust. So its pretty good. Also will boost my MPG about 5. I am looking at michelins AT. Gets great reviews for on the road and off road. They aren't as good as a MT but i wont be taking this truck off roading as much. Most i will be doing is like going down trails to a campsite or out hunting in the woods.

 

That's what I mean, those are awesome numbers for just those mods.

Plus the AT will be so much better on the road.

 

yup so i am pretty excited to get the tuner and intake in. Probably gonna happen towards the end of july.

Just found out I got a 90 cent raise with my promotion from seasonal employee to customer associate. Gonna make getting the truck modded a lot easier.

 

Woo hoo! How are you liking it out there in Tallahassee?

 

I'm really liking it out here so far. I'm making about $2 more an hour than I was in Jacksonville. It's a lot hotter here, which kinda sucks. The city is soo much smaller though in a month I use about the same amount of gas I used to use in a week or so in Jacksonville. I live 4 miles from work, and 2 miles from FSU and TCC, the school I will be going to and the school I currently attend.

After I finish my AA I can start school at FSU, which I'm really looking forward to. The campus is so freaking nice.

And now we've got a TW group in Tally. Things are definitely looking up.
