You can buy a house the same size here for like $75,000-$100,000....no joke...

 

Holy crap thats crazy. That house is 3k sq ft. on a huge retention area plus like 1/2 acre. I thought it was reasonable.

 

for windermere it probably is, Im sure houses are worth a lot more there.

My parents house is 2800 square feet on an acre lot, and its valued at $99,000. (deltona)

in 2006 it was worth $350,000...

 

How about that 10 acres in Old Town, Fl.,5 year old 3/2, fireplace,Killer nice kitchen, 8 car Butler building W/ heat & air,, ALL for 180K.. 80K cash down and she holds the loan for 20 years at 3 % .. New way to live, walk out on the back porch naked and empty both 9MM at the same time and the phone dont ring

It looks like a good deal to me. If you think that's bad you should have seen Miami. My house is cheaper than the condos I was looking at down there.

 

hahaha that's pretty good. He wanted lake front. I was trying to get close. Anything on the Butler chain round here goes for the 1M+ range. Lake front=$$ in Orlando. But MX is right you can get the surrounding areas a lot cheaper. Miami is insane. They are like Cali prices down there if not worse.

 

Yeah Windermere probably won't happen but some of the smaller lakes near Conway might. Budget is up to 300k but I would like to keep it below 250k. It will be hard, but its just the two of us + dog so we don't want a big house...value to us is in being on the water with a yard for the pup. We have also looked down narcoosee road and over toward clermont. I will say all these expressways make it easy to live in different parts of town, I work off sand lake road but could realistically live anywhere from lake Nona to winter park to Oakland or Clermont.

Has anyone ever fished the ponds at A-pit ?
I'm thinking about going today and wetting a hook , curious if anyone has some insight on the fishing
