I don't see myself getting 35s. It is a DD in the city and my MPGs with 33s are horrible as it is. Only getting like 270-280 miles to a tank. I really can't fathem making it worse or else I won't ever drive the damn thing and that defeats the purpose lol

 

I said that once too. Mine is a DD on 35s and I make some long trips man. It's been a bit better since I've regeared. I've left the idea of good gas mileage. After you put in the sliders and a front skid as well as bumpers it's already screwed anyway. The 35s become no biggie

 

Its not bad. I just got quoted from ecgs for gears 1700 installed by them. Just took this

 

I am getting like 16 mpg as it is. I really don't want to have to shell out more money to get regeared either. That is one of the main reasons I am trying to stay put. I don't wheel every day maybe 1 or 2 times a month so no reason to do all that to my DD and have to deal with it. Maybe I will change my mind down the road but idk I rather have a beater to wheel the crap out of on 35s on the side lol.

I Gotcha. You might not wanna cut it up for a bumper at that point then. Just saying.

 

well I still want to cut up the bedsides for the HC. Just not the fenders since I won't need 35s................................yet :/

 

Lol I get what you mean. I just want eddy to cut my firewall and weld in a new one that's further back.

 

Why not an All Pro style bumper, then you wouldn't have to cut anything.

 

He makes those too. I figure if I am going to put on a bumper I might as well go all in and get it right for wheeling the first time rather then wanting a HC later.

 

Yeah good point. All Pro calls their's a HC bumper but I'm fairly new to off roading (truck wise) so I'll be the first to admit I don't know. Haha
I just know for as little as I wheel & being my DD I wouldn't want to cut my truck. I do like the looks of the All Pro though.

 

The one that I posted is like the allpro (as in the fact it is not HC) that Eddy makes but he is going to turn it into a HC for me. But it is my DD aswell and this is why I am not getting 35s lol

For those of you who have expos, how soon did they start squeaking?

 

My regulars have a little bit of squeak sometimes. Had them on almost 2 years

 

I've had mine about 3 months now & about a month ago noticed a creaking sound when I get in & out of the truck.
