Took my new smittybilt x20 10k apart to clean all the old grease out and throw some better grease in. Went with Lucas Red and Tacky since I had some and that is what I use in my zerks.
Anything is better than what was in there I am sure.

Packed it fullllll. Prob 2 or 3 times more grease. Wasn't much in there.

Depends in where you put it. I moved mine to the passenger fender right behind the washer fluid reservoir and used every bit of 30'.

Obviously lol seems like drivers side or passenger side are the most common option

Yeah I had estimated 35ft yesterday.
Going to cost around $205 for 0/1 guage wire, connectors, heat shrink. Sound about right? Damn expensive! Did you put an in line fuse or cut off on the power wire?

Sounds about right. Check out knukonceptz for wire, awesome stuff. No cutoff or fuse, try to find something that's rated for 500 amps... It's hard to do.

yeah I have checked them out. I think I might just settle on this marine grade wire since they do all the work for around $5.85/ft including cutting the wire to spec, add heat shrink and crimps.
(Just those crimps are like $10 for 2 and I don't have a crimper that large so I would have to buy that.)

for 5-7ft peices it is around $210 shipped and call it a day.

You can do it a hell of a lot cheaper than $5.85 a foot including a hammer crimper. Check out Amazon for terminals, adhesive heat shrink, and the crimper.

I know I looked and was adding it all up last night.
    $50 in crimps
    $20 in crimper
    average $4/ft on wire 35ft = $140
    $9 ? heat shrink
    $priceless -My time

    = around $220. Unless you know something I don't know ?

    =$6.29/ft
