I'm a little confused by, "...the cost be for just the head unit...".

Please visit our website [ http://www.flyzeye-designs.com/main.html ] if you need help clarifying what our product is.

Installed one in my 2011 TRD Sport.
Traded trucks so I have got to order one for my 2015 TRD Sport.
Looks like it came installed from the factory.

Is there an easy way to remove the mounting plate of a V2W? I bought an aftermarket stereo and want to move the light to the new dash kit. I'd rather not buy a new mounting plate due to it already being wired in.

SLOW, steady pressure from either end. It will come off. We can get you some new VHB tape - just ask.

We spent many hundreds of hours refining the design for that reason. That, and quality. ;)

Sounds good, I'll give that a try. My other question was going to be on the tape you use. I'd love to get the same stuff. I'll definitely pay for that and any shipping. I'll message you. Thanks!

I purchased my flyeye and it literally took me 5 minutes to install. I knew how my dash came apart already from just doing the head unit so that is the main reason it was so quick but the clips for taping into the wiring harness are already cliped onto the lighting unit. I am still amazed at how easy it was oh and it looks great.

Our pricing will be changing as we draw closer to the 2016 Tacoma. We will NOT be producing any more V1 or V2 cores. As the supply dwindles, expect prices to increase.

I would think with over 1,000,000 second gen. Tacoma's on the road you would have customers for years to come. I love my Flyzeyes!

Halting production due to the new model Tacoma being different, thus they will no longer make units to fit 2nd gen... ;( get a backup while you can

Got the time to install the Flyzeye V2 today. Super easy install. Probably took around 10 minutes and I hate dealing with wires. Also put in the Flyzeye naked battery powered unites for the glove box and center console. Unfortunately the 3m on the magnet wasn't strong enough for the unit I installed and it just kept coming undone so off to the store tomorrow to fix that up. Hakuna Matata though. Awesome product and the light it gives to the interior is the perfect amount!

Pics of V2, primary(white) and secondary(blue) as well as the center console light. No pics of glove box due to the problem listed above.

I see. And what order should the lights be in relative to their position on the device? I see people put white/amber/white. Not too sure what that means. Thanks.

White/amber/white would be primary color white or first mode on the switch. Amber being secondary or second mode on switch. And then the last white would be the halo color which is simply the color of the dimming buttons. Really doesn't matter which order you put them in and if you look at the photos I uploaded you will see 4 little blue buttons above the temp control. That is the halo. I chose blue. Hope that makes sense...

I see. I'm guessing white would be the brightest. Thanks man. I'm thinking I may go the same route as you and get white/blue/blue. Seems to match the interior better. Thanks again.

I assume you guys are still around since you're profile says you were on here a couple days ago and peeps are still ordering products. Sent an email to info@flyzeye-designs.com but in a week I've only gotten the automated response of "we'll get back to you in 3 biz days" blah...
