What's your fav health dinner meal ect

My fav. healthy food is definitly Grilled Chicken, I like it with cajun or BBQ sauce. Also, just a tip, completely stop drinking soda. Replace it with water, gatorade, lemonade, tea. I lost 10 + pounds when I stopped drinking soda, and that was the only change in my diet.

Ya i do nothing but grill chicken i love to BBQ! As far as the soda thing i stopped drinking it about a year ago other them when drinking! My down fall was snacking at night and eating burgers, pizza, ect the food that makes you a Fatass AKA MOT style lol

 

What my girlfriend and I like to do is. Take a bowl of cooked brown rice, throw in some chicken, salsa and avacado and mix it all up. Sometime we'll throw in black beans too if we have any. Super delicious and real easy to make.

 

That sounds good sounds kinda like a bowl at chipotle!

 

you really cant go wrong if you grill or bake some type of white fish and some good veggies.

 

True that! anything you do that you love? type of meat seasoning ect?

 

I like a lot of hot and spicy stuff.........some paprika and some cayenne.....and some cavenders Greek seasoning work nicely on fish....and squeeze some fresh lemon on it after its done.

 

My girlfriend and I usually get around 1lb of talapia fillets.
Drizzle with a bit of olive oil and pepper, wrap in foil and BBQ on med for 8-10 mins

Then in a separate foil wrap, olive oil and pepper on Cauliflowers for 10-12 mins (so they are warm but still crunchy)

Add a little rice if we feel really hungry.

Mix it up with Salmon fillets occasional for some nice Omega 3-s...

I think i am going to try this out i have some talapia in the freezer never thought of BBQing it thanks for the tip!

 

I love spicy stuff but the doc said i cant eat much of it now I hate my life

 

For me, I completely removed white rice from my diet and use brown rice instead. If you know how to cook brown rice it ain't to bad. Also, sweet potatoes instead of regular potatos.
Other than that, my wife cuts all the fat off beef or chicken before cooking it. She uses mostly olive oil. We're not much fried food people. She makes everything from scratch.
Eat smaller portions throughout the day to get your metabolism up.
Hit the gym. Or just go for a walk.

Lastly, Just be conscious of what you're eating.

My wife had gestational diabetas when she was pregnant with our son. I basically changed our diet because of it and now that she is not pregnant why go back now. We still go out on occasion

My own version of greek salad. Red, green, orange, yellow peppers; tomatoes, cucumber, onion with feta cheese and oregano. Then I drizzle some oil and red vinegar on it! Oh and a bit of salt and pepper.
