    Dinner tonight:

Pork Loin: rubbed with mixture of sugar, pepper, garlic, paprika, mesquite bbq, etc... Also a little liquid smoke.
Placed on bed of sliced onions and topped with sliced pears.Injected with melted butter, olive oil, white pepper, garlic.
Baked in oven at 220 for 3 hours, pulled at about 150 inside temp.

Sauce: After meat was done, sautéd the onions from the bottom of the pan with the diced pears and diced tomatoe. Add the rest of the drippings with a little corn starch to thicken it, and also a little ketchup and steak sauce and a few spices ( pepper, garlic, some "monkey dust" spice I found in the cabinet)

Served the sauce on grits (aka polenta). Grits included sweet corn, some of the pork drippings, cheese and milk.

Sure, I don't always inject. It is probably healthier without it!

Damn never thought of that! Brady labels are pretty nice, more expensive though.

I use a DYMO label maker and on some of the kids' school water bottles and lunch boxes they last going through the dish washer every day for at least a semester, some the whole school year before I replace them. They have different quality labels; paper, plastic - white, transparent etc..
You can also adjust the font style and size.

One suggestion: the one I have (like the picture) has a keyboard that is alphabetical order. It was about $20. For $25 you can get the bigger model that has a QWERTY keyboard. It is unbelievable how frustrating it is to use the alphabetical keyboard if you are used to a QWERTY keyboard like your computer and phone. I should have spent the extra $5, but did not realize the difference at the time.

Not the ones I've used, similar to the dymo posted above

 Glad I quit smoking 12 years ago. I quit drinking soda too about a year ago except for the occasional fast food craving. Cheese: I could never give that up, one of my favorite foods.
