Don't cook eggs in them...I haven't gotten the hang of that yet
I got mine about a year ago. Was told to get them super hot and put some veggie oil in, turn the burner off, let them cool slowly, heat up again. That helps season them. You need to cook with a much lower temp to avoid sticking/scorching.

Oh, and get some "bar keepers friend" cleaner to keep them shiny

    thanks

Cooked eggs in them last night... two came out over easy and the third, busted the yolk. I did see on the box it said to cook at med or lower temp.

.... adds bar keepers friend to shopping list

What those guys said Susan. If you use a high heat to sear something, deg-lazing later in cooking (for sauce or what have you) looseness up anything that gets heavily browned and sticks, and you can scrape away to get all that goodness.
And a bit of hot water to let them soak makes them surprisingly easy to clean, and for occasionally discoloration or stubbornness, the Bar Keepers is great stuff for getting back to like-new.

Will the Bar Keepers work on very old Revere Wear copper clad pots and pans?
