    back to bone stock.
growing up with some relocated hawiian kids, i ate the stuff. learned to like it. grew up and laid off of it.

now i have it in my earthquake box, next to a bunch of .45 ammo. i sometimes feel the need to rotate it out..

i usually pan fry it, and lay a few over a pile of rice. it is much saltier than i remember from my childhood.

When I was deployed in OIF 4 we would put it in the engine compartment of the M113 on convoy escort missions, once you drop off the convoy you would have a tasty, hot meal!:D

Personally, I don't eat the stuff

My mother was pretty poor growing up- so spam was a staple of her diet.

My grandma was famous for her spam enchiladas

When I ask the 'ol lady what's for dinner and she says "Spam and Rice" I'm like HELL YES! Top the rice with an over easy egg...comfort my brutha! That's what happens when your're raised in Guam and Hawaii.

Spam and Eggs, Spam Musubi, Spamghetti, Spam and Onions...gotta be original Spam though. I can't stand the other flavors and the Hot and Spicy one is farking HOT!

I make spam fried rice on the weekends for the kids.
Fry up chopped spam, glaze with brown sugar, throw in the rice with teriyaki sauce.
Top it off with one or two over easy eggs on top.
So good and bad for you at the same time.
