So, can anyone PLEASE tell me why a 24 pound turkey is the go to bird? I work in a meat department and I see so many people who want to buy a turkey but the 23.75 lb turkey is too small and the 24.00 is JUST PERFECT. WTF? Is Martha Stewart a dinner guest or did I miss something? It's not like a 22 lb bird is any worse than a 24 lb one. And the same people will buy one the day after at a discount and freeze it for christmas, smart good for you.,....but, We Americans buy almost 40 MILLION turkeys for thanksgiving. What do you think they do with the ones that arent sold? Where I work we donate everything. No questions asked. Other places put them in a freezer sell them cheap the next holiday.

Surprisingly, I didn't mind the only one I ever had.

 

You should see the looks I get when I order the veggie burger with cheese and bacon

 

I like soy milk to, one of my friends told me it raises estrogen levels
I have to drink whole milk tho, not enough calories in soy to keep my muscles up haha and its kind expensive on a college budget

Totally worth it , they are good , especially the nutty / seedy grain types of veggie burgers
