Yep, it was awesome, cut and ate it like a steak and dipped it in sauce.

IIRC, it was boneless, skinless, thighs opened up flat, rub applied to inside, then rolled up and smoked for hours and finished on the grill.

Nice! Looks great. Chicken thighs are hands down the best piece of chicken to grill. I do like them smoked as well!

Awesome! I did a lot of research and that seemed to be the one to get for what I will use it for. :)

I did add an AMAZN smoke generator, (wasn't crazy about the way it turns your wood chips into charcoal instead of ashes) now, I've got up to eight hours of smoke, with out even looking/checking on it. Plus you can cold smoke fish and cheese, with out even plugging it in.

My wife found a brinkmann electric smoker at a good will store and bought it for $25. I'm big on the bbq but never smoked...This little smoker has been great! I'm still experimenting with how much wood to use, etc, but it has produced some tasty meat!

I usually don't. That particular time, I decided I was too hungry to wait, so I brought it up to 165 internal temp faster that way.

In the past I've also finished brisket in the oven. Some will argue that after the "bark" is formed, smoke intake isn't that great, so cover it to keep the moisture in.

Be sure to season it first. I've been using electric for years, good heat control, and ease of use.

The window will be opaque after a few uses. There is not much point in cleaning it, whatever you're smoking will still be good whether you can see it or not:hungry:
