Keegan Ale's Mother's milk. A dark beer like Guiness only smoother and not bitter at all.

My favorite beer is Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. It's only sold in Kentucky so if you find yourself in Kentucky pick up a 4 pack. It will cost between $10 and $12 but it's worth it.

The beers with the biggest health benefits, I tell myself, are the hoppier beers like pale ales and ipa's. Saw somewhere that the hoppier beer, if you drink huge amounts, can ware off the cold virus. Heard on a brewery tour that hops are good for prostate health.

    I enjoy trying new beers.

#1 all time fave is Alaskan Amber. Somewhere toward the top would also be Brewdog Punk IPA, Sam Adam's Imperial White, Ninkasi Sleigh'r, and a myriad of others.

I'm like the OP, I love a variety of styles as long as it's well done. Age it in barrels of some sort, put an ungodly amount of hops in it, make it so dark and thick it's more like a stew, whatever. They all have their own place. I tend to judge a brewery by their amber ale and IPA, probably my fave 2 styles.

Been aging this one over 6 years…. Have just one more left. On vacation this week so I thought I’d break it out for something different.

I use PBR to simmer brats in. 2 hours minimum, bell peppers towards the end, handful of brown sugar and a splash of worchesier sauce. Then onto the BBQ

excellent! Kind of a barely wine more than a beer. I think i had 12 when I started this, they do get better with age. I’m down to one left aging now.

    Haha very true.

Went to Fox Farm in CT recently, really enjoyed some of their spontaneous ales, very good/interesting/weird(?) flavors come through

I used to be a really big fan of Lagunitas. Since craft beer really took off in Alberta a few years ago, I've pretty much only been drinking local stuff.

Nothing fancy over here, I like PBR, Miller Lite,Yuengling and Busch Light. I find myself grabbing Miller Lite the most since I feel I wake up better with it after a few too many compared to other domestic macro beers that leave me like a lame horse in the morning if I over do it.
I'll never turn down a free or cold beer though!

I use PBR to simmer brats in..handful of brown sugar, onions, bell peppers. The longer the simmer the better. Then give them a good turn or two on the grill. Making my time tested
brats next weekend with my buddies for a weekend of shooting in the desert below Julian, Ca.

I drink very little these days, but when I do, I prefer the freshest beer possible. I always pick something local, no matter where I go. If I can't find a local brew, I just order Guinness. It's always good.
