It should work with almost any peppers and I guess if you think jalapenos taste like butt it will :D I like the taste of them so I bet it would be good. Only one way to find out, make us some :)

I cook my eggs in a wok, but I wasn't going to presume all people (even in a foodie thread) own a wok. Your dad used Maggi sauce? That's awesome. You MUST be a fellow yellow ;)

Interesting. Quick research shows it originated in Switzerland.

Funny, I'd always thought it was an Asian thing, it's one of the sauces you grow up eating. I STILL use it to make hot dog fried rice...

It is honestly hard to find a wok. I was looking for one to make an indoor smoker, where you would put bamboo steamers on top of the wok that has wood chips in it to make it a smoker. Sorry if I dont know the technical name for bamboo steamer things.

    you got the name right.

i use my chimney charcoal starter and the smallest weber grill. i get the smoke going in the chimney and set the leg-less weber on top. works pretty well. my kitchen fan is not strong enough to handle smoke indoors. i dont care what any food network person tells me. i will get my kitchen smoke alarm going!!

I can't believe I'm nervous about someone I don't know on the Internet liking my hot sauce, this is hilarious!

Sorry been on the road all day. Got it yesterday and immediately poured some onto a spoon to try it. I'll tell you what, you weren't joking. It is REALLY good sauce. They ended up shipping me the medium so its not too spicey but the flavor is damn good. Thanks for the recommendation, definitely a great addition to the quiver!

If you like sriracha sauce you might also like sambal badjak. It is my favorite chili paste/sauce. Similar to sabal oelek but more flavor. Not incredibly hot, but spicy and tasty.
