    With all this talk about Horse meat I can see this being a staple in the years to come. Will you eat it? I don't think I could/would/will.

    Had it before. Didn't know it at the time. Still tasted good.

    No reason not to eat again.

    There's something really weird about that....

    I just had my first bison burger a couple weeks ago. Pretty good....

    Horse? That might fall in the same category as snake, squirrel, scorpians.... No Thanks!

    I worked in a bindery that used Horse Glue to make phone books. That was hard to imagine....

    horse is just a different four legged animal, I think since we grow up having them as pets and companions, it is a little weird to eat them, but really, no different than a cow, they eat veges, we eat them...

    Actually its not that bad. They eat grass. Not gamey like elk or venison. You'd be surprised how many restaurants have fed you horse. Bottom line is, when your hungry enough, you'll eat it.
    Besides, it taste like chicken..:hungry::deadhorse:

    Squirrel is wonderful. I don't see any objection to eating horse, like any other livestock. I however, don't have a horse background. I can understand how some would be opposed to it. I think it's all how you frame it. I don't want to eat dog meat because I love dogs. Yet I don't mind killing coyotes (terrors)...

    What's your point? I wasn't quoting you... I even said that I can understand why some wouldn't want to but I don't have that background. Many have not even said that. To each their own.
