    you like goat?

sure it is strong tasting. but those damn things can eat anything. i've watched a small herd clean out poison oak on my mountain bike trail. i read an article that the world eats more goat meat than anything else on the planet. so this is the rest of the world. this article went on to say, goat meat takes less resources. less land, less food..compared to cattle. and they pollute less.

only time i ever eat goat is if i shoot a feral one on a friend's ranch. great bow targets. i like the meat fine, especially in curries.

just wondering. that horse thread got me thinking.

I like goat meat. Had a lot of it in Argentina.

I'm sure it will be the Next Big Thing in NYC and SF restaurants. Get in on the goat game now!

Mmmm. Goat is tasty. As well as goat's milk and cheese. I'll take it over beef or pork any day.

Goat meat, cheese and milk all taste great. Hopefully it doesn't catch on and I can keep buying at current prices.

I'm sure it has something to do with Market Value. There isn't as much meat per animal, and someone can't make as much profit off of goats. 'Merica where the rich keep getting richer and the poor are fucked.

Bingo. The last thing the beef, pork and poultry industries want is for us to have another viable option. On my land I could support a couple of goats, but realistically it's not large enough for cattle. If I (the royal 'I') were to realize I could viably raise my own meat, then what would I need their hormone-laden monstrosities for?
