'11 S/C K.I.S.S. "Factory Enhanced" DC TRD OR 2011 Double Cab Automatic

Clarified butter works real well. Extremely high smoke point.
I read that if the seasoning was properly done and the oils has plasticized sealing the metal and working its way into the pores then you shouldn't have a problem with it going rancid.
To redo the pan I once put the thing in the oven and put the oven in the "cleaning" cycle. This super heats the pan and a bit of scrubbing with steel wool flakes all the old crap off leaving you with bare metal. Gotta work fast to season it though. The iron started rusting almost immediately.
I want bacon now...
