    I have the advantage of living near New Haven CT. There is so much excellent pizza here, that there are no chains. Once in a while one opens up and closes within a year or two. Anyway, Moderne Pizza is the best followed closely by PEPE'S. OOPS forgot the best part give me a pie with sausage and roasted peppers!!!!

    Idk how many people live around charles county southern maryland area except me and littledvl, or little e, but its a place called vocellis pizza and there are about three others, jiffys by andrews airforce base, reginas in clinton which i think closed down and mama stellas over by pinefield i bet that they will all smoke anybodys mom and pop place ever, period done fenito finish ahhaha:D

    not actually local... but Trattoria Medina in Napolia, Italia. they make everything, dough and sauce right in from of you. they even make the cheese onsite!!! Its not real pizza unless you pay for it in Euro "Malto Bene"
