    Absolutely nothing beats pickinng your own tomatos, slicing them up then making a sandwich out of them. The joys of summer!

    a totally true statement, yes.

    however, our 8 or 9 plants have grown hundreds of tomatoes this year. im tired of canning and eating these freaking things.

    mmmm tomato sandwiches are my happy place! bread, tomato, salt, pepper, and a nice slice of cheese. its the best sandwich on earth!

    Super ripe beefsteak tomato right off the vine, sliced nice and thick. Extra crispy but not burnt bacon, three strips. Crispy iceberg lettuce. Lightly toasted Roman Meal 100% whole wheat bread. Thin layer of Hellman's olive oil mayo. Generous sprinkling of black pepper.

    Heaven on a plate.

    that is one awesome sandwich. minus the mayo, and the gross hobbit fingernails on it. also, Mayo is gross. it will never be found on my sammiches!

    Oh my good im sorry. Thats a tough lie to live. Over here in MD we are known for our blue crabs. Father in law is a commercial crabber. I get to eat them alllllll summer.
