Making BBQ pulled pork for Sunday brunch and need a good coleslaw recipe.

I've searched both vinegar and creamy styles; but what does everyone out there suggest?

    thanks!

I found this recipe in Bon Appetit and thought it sounded good. It's pretty good and a little different that the norm.

    1 garlic clove, finely grated
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Louisiana-style hot pepper sauce
1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
    1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
    4 cups thinly sliced cabbage
1/2 cup Bread-and-Butter Pickle slices, plus 1/4 cup pickle juice

I've been using this one for a few years. Simple, not fancy, but good flavor.

You can add buttermilk, or pineapple vinegar if you want to wow your guests, but plain and simple seems to work best for me, especially with pulled pork, or burnt ends.

thank you for the great suggestions.

I made one similar to Ham's suggestion above but substituted lemon juice for the vinegar and added just a bit of Dijon mustard. Turned out good and really went well with the BBQ on the pork!

I'll definitely give the jalapeno recipe a try next time. It sounds good and just the right amount of spice.
