Just in time for this the BBQ season.

Bacon Cheese Turtle Burger

Mmmmmmm bacon...............
this is a heart attack waiting to happen.

Handmade ground beef patties, topped with sharp cheddar cheese,
wrapped in a bacon weave.

Then the next step, add hot dogs as the heads, legs and tail.

Next step?
Place on an oven rack, covered loosely with foil and baked for
20-30 minutes at 400 degrees.
A little crispy, not too crunchy...just how a turtle should be, no?

My last meal, should it ever come to that, is now a toss-up between that and a bacon explosion.

 

eat a couple of those and it's time to call the amberlamps. oh that looks absolutely delicious.

 

Looks awesome. Can't wait to try it out. Maybe on Wednesday.

Wow, I thought I knew all there was to know about greasy goodness.. until today.

My cholesterol just rose 10 points looking at it. I'm going to have to try this!

 

ah.. here we go. seems simple enough. not sure how to weave bacon though.
