    Works great too

I built the fence last year , it has two screws under it so I was / am able to fine tune it to square with the planer bed

Just took me 10 minutes to get it all set up and run my boards instead of hauling out another machine

I'm a little spoiled with this thing. I've always been impressed with a good workaround.

I edited my post above and added a few pics

They are going to be skirtboards for the two small sets of stairs in my house ( 2 rise and a 4 rise ) , I wasn't going to go with skirtboards in my original plan and mocked up a few ways to terminate the base and hat above and below the stairs that I wasn't totally happy with and my wife walked in at the end of the day and looked at my 2 mock ups and said , and I quote " Are you retarded ? That looks like you just ran out of wood "

So yeah , skirtboards going on

I know you hate real craftsmanship , VG Fir and scribing , you're not fooling anybody , I can read what you're actually saying , your snide caulking remarks are an afront to all carpenters , it's getting old

Day 3 progress. Fascia and tar paper is up. I am glad the neighbor came over and showed me how to use a framing square to get the gable end angles right for the fascia. It took a little while to get semi comfortable on the 7/12 pitch roof.

Is it a kit or plans or your own design?

So I don't understand how this works (I can't tell from the picture). With a joiner the blade trims on the same side as the plane. Wouldn't the plane have to be at the top with the spinning blade?

The planer knives are cutting the top edge of the board square to the planer bed , making the edges square so I could make a good tight glue joint

Generally no , the passes are pretty minimal , it stays put where I clamp it once it gets set up each time
