Old Trailer

Is this trailer worth messing with? I was thinking it could make a cool small off-road trailer if redone. It has been sitting behind my parents shed for years.

needs some definite work...but hell yeah, put a lil money and time into it,and it'll be a good trailer.

new bearings, check the leaf springs if it has them......if not...make sure the axles and hubs are good. replace all the wood, and make some sides for it. rewire.......it'll be a fun project.

edit:i looked at the last pic......make sure the leafs arent bent or cracked. replace as needed. if you have a northern tool or tractor supply.....they carry alot of what you'll need.

I'd DEFINITELY trim the little grass growing out of it first.

But that looks like a fun project for sure! Go for it!

Go for it, seems like a decent project! If it has to be road worthy, check for tags to make sure it's registered (I'm not sure how hard it is to get home-made trailers registered where you are but some states are tough). Good luck.
