Must Have Tools

Assume everyone already has the basics, lets see the out of the ordinary ones that people may not have thought of adding to their toolboxes. Post some of the tools you couldn't live without.

My first suggestion is the Vise Grip locking wrench: Unlike traditional VGs these ones really grip bolts and nuts without possibly slipping.

15" Snap On 1/2" drive ratchet.
picked mine up at a pawn shop and it comes in handy all the time as a breaker bar but better cause you don't have to take it off and reposition it.

Welder by trade? A TIG is stretching it for the average Joe. I would argue that a MIG is essential, but just because I have one.

Aside from the basics (screwdrivers, sockets, drill)...

Dremel
Handheld finishing sander
Part retrieval magnets (yes, plural...grumble grumble)
Allen wrenches
Various-sized crescent wrenches
Rubber mallet
Compressor and air tools (ratchet, impact, and tire gauge/pump are the most frequently used)
