2011 Tundra Bumper

Hi. I wasn't sure where to post this but my dad is thinking about getting a Ranch Hand bumper for his 2011 Tundra. I'm just curious if anybody has pics of one on or if you know anything about them. From what I hear they are pretty good. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!

What does he intend to do with the truck?

The bumper doesn't look to be designed for off-roading. No improvement in approach angle compared to stock.

The steel plating is too thin. 12 ga. is only .105. Tacoma plate bumpers use a combination of 3/16" (.188) and 10 ga. (.135). The heavier ones use 3/16" all the way through. The ATO hybrid bumper's center section is 1/4" (.250).

Well he manages 2 deer leases so he is constantly on ranches. He also just hit a deer and it dented up his stock bumper so he thinks he might as well get something a little more heavy duty.

If he wants heavy duty tell him to look into a plated bumper

Look at some others, Expedition One makes a nice bumper for the Tundra

Even the full hoop one is better than that ugly ranchhand...
