    Okay, Peter. After sleeping on the issue, I may have come up with the ultimate solution for your problems with slotted screws. Since Canadians are so darn obsessed with the maple leaf, how about a screw with a maple leaf head (drive) and matching driver? Since it's a shape you're more familiar with (than a simple slot), you might be able to finally keep the driver within the screw head. Besides, this will provide you Canadians with yet one more place (like that's really needed) to plaster that freaking maple leaf design. :rofl:

    Gotcha. Figured with enough innuendo, I'd eventually put you on the defensive. Actually, slotted screws are occasionally a pain, but they do serve several purposes. Because of that, they're certainly not going away any time soon.
