    The makita lxt line is good but the regular lith ions batterys dont last that long they may charge in 15 min but they do die pretty fast. They dont have enough torque either if ur gona be driving a lot of screws or big lag bolts id get the lxt makita or 20v dewalt

    LEER Shell with dome lights operated with 3 way switches, aux backup lights with relay and 3 position switch, modified wiring to compass/temp display and clock to include switch that disables dimming function (poor man's DRL solution), Scan Gauge 2
    We all use the same set at work. (HVAC/Appliance repair). In the last four years I think we've had a battery or two go bad, but these things are tough.

    I don't know if anyone has said it but honestly for a home owner you don't need 18-24V. They will be much heavier than the 12-14V. With the all of the new technology the 14V drills are awesome.

    I own the Milwaukee Drill/Driver and love it. [​IMG]

    The driver is amazing and makes working around the house much easier. I hung a cabinet, one handed, while driving a 3" finish head Sq drive screw well above my head like it was nothing. The drill couldn't do it.

    BOOM! His helper hands him teh square drive, they finish the project, and are drinking beers by the time OZ even has the correct part for his project......one reason I speculate that his bumper is STILL not on his truck....

    their battery seems to last forever.
    HomeDepot was giving away free battery for every ridgid stuff... but honestly, never needed more than two batteries... plenty of power, so far so good.
