    My stove doesn't run that hot usually so it's fine there. Plus the wood is usually a little moist so it helps dry out.

    I burn 5-7 cords per year based on temps and sell at least 10 cords. Spent a bit of time this evening sharpening chain and prepping tools. Headed out tomorrow to cut, split and deliver a cord of douglas fir. Most of the time this is a fun venture...periodically it sucks. I'll be using the new Taco to pull my wood trailer. The 4.0 will me a marked improvement over my 1991 toyota.

    If I were to sell firewood as a source of income I would have one of those. But since I usually need a cord or two each season having one of those is overkill. Besides I sit around at a desk all day so I need all the help I can get being healthy.

    I have a regular fireplace that i was thinking of converting to a wood stove. Last gas bill came in at over 200/month. Has anyone done this? Costs? Thoughts? Advice? Any idea on reduction of gas costs after installed (this will help me convince my wife).
