We just switched from electric to gas stove/oven. What would it take to convert the 220 VAC on the wall to 110 VAC?

    Thanks in advance

There's 2 hot legs, a neutral and a ground. A licensed electrician will remove the 220 receptacle and put in a standard 110 receptacle.

you would need to replace your 2 pole breaker (likely 40A or 50A) with a single pole breaker (all gas ranges I've wired require a 20A).
you will need to marette a piece of #12 on to each of the wire to be able to terminate the wire on the receptacle (5-20R), #8 is too big.
