Rigid x4 power drills

Anyone use these? They have a lifetime warranty on the drills, charger, and batteries. I think I might buy these next week

i used a 20% off harbor freight coupon at home depot on the x4 5 piece kit, got it for 399 before tax! its my first cordless set, but i really like it so far. the lifetime on the tools AND batteries sold me. i would personally recommend them for sure!

EDIT: added bold text for clarity. Home Depots accepts competitor coupons from Lowes. Some Home Depots also accept Harbor Freight coupons.

Excellent! That's a hell of deal for 399. I thought about gettin the 5 piece but I don't need the saw or light. But If I can get it for 400 at harbor freight, which is 100 less than Home Depot, I might just get it

no, ridgid is not sold at HF. some home depots will accept the HF coupon. take the coupon to the customer service desk, as them if they will accept the coupon. if they say they do, then go purchase the x4 kit w/ the coupon

be reminded, you have to purchase the ridgid kit at home depot in order to qualify for the warranty. also, you have to register all the tools, batteries and even charger to qualify for the warranty as well.

In my opinion makita makes the best cordless tools, i have never used a rigid cordless tool, only a corded drill and a compressor. The compressor didnt last long and the drill isnt the best quality, no problems with it though. I would buy makita or Milwaukee, but i also use the tools almost everyday.

Oh okay! Well ill try it the coupon!

My boss has the makita drill and impact, and IMO the drills are great but we go through one charger every two weeks. Which is a real pain in the ass

suggestion...go to the customer service first thing and ask if they accept the harbor freight coupons. if they say they do, go get the x4 kit and go directly back to the cashier that said they accept the coupons and check out. i think this will give you the best chance at using the coupon and getting the $100 off the x4 5 piece kit

if you go to another cashier to checkout, they may not know and then have to call another cashier. you want to try to fly under the radar, dont want to bring much attention to yourself.

i dont think this set was on sale.

i acutally scored...used the HF coupon and got $100 off. plus, i bought the kit when they were including a free jobmax 18V starter kit ($99 value)!! so i essentially got $600 worth of tools for $400...and the lifetime warranty!

Shoot you really scored. Have you seen how much all that would be if you bought everything separate? Haha

Just an FYI I am constantly sending in batteries for warranty replacement due to failure but we use the piss out of their drills. They aren't quite up to par with the big boys but for the home handyman they work great.
