i saw that video a few months ago. only thing bad about them i see is don’t look like you can take the wheels off. most other jack stands you can use on the frame or axle.

Ya these would be alot better for cars that sit low to the ground, i dont think i would ever need them for my truck, but still thats a pretty cool design.

Those would be perfect for my wife's FR-S so that I can change the oil. Wonder how much they cost...

I agree the ramps are faster...but these provide a higher lift than a ramp. If you're just changing oil sure use the ramps.

In my situation I needed my whole xrunner off the ground to work on my transmission. The ramps would not have provided enough ground clearance plus I still would have had to jack up the rear since it isn't safe to try to drive your vehicle onto four ramps at one time.

These lift stands have their advantage when used for it's intended purpose. If you are just changing oil this is overkill but if you are doing extended work underneath it's a huge plus.
