Husky 445, great saw. IMO either a Husky or Stihl unless you get one for free.

I have an old Stihl that was passed down to me. It was my dad's old saw and he gave it to me when he bought 2 new ones. I don't even know what model it is but it's a beast!

I run a Stihl MS 211, pretty small saw but gets me all the campfire wood i can burn and is small enough not to hate carrying it a km or two into a good camping spot. have had to clear out a few trees bigger than my 16" bar which was a bit of work, but very happy with this saw so far.

Here is a saw that I run at work sometimes. I'm not sure what model it is because the badge is missing. I believe it might be an MS 260. Cuts good though.

Looks the same as mine. 10 years of solid service producing 4-6 cord/yr.

I've got an older husqvarna that I like, its a pretty big saw, I don't really know the specs on it, I think the bar is 22" or so

we also have a newer (and smaller so mom can use it) husqvarna and a poulan saw of some sort that I don't use. I like the husqvarnas better.I think the smaller is a 16 or 18 inch blade

Just purchased the Stihl MS 271 with 20" bar. I don't think I need one that size but I'm one to buy/get something more than I need. Just in case and don't want the have to say " I should have bought the bigger one".

    I have a cheapie "pull-on"

$30 on ebay Then $30 for a new chain and a new spark plug. Runs like a champ... When it wants lol. I don't use it often, otherwise, I'd buy a stihl.

Seems odd that you would go for a Poulan, they are high maintenance.:D
