2010 Tacoma, probably blown engine

A good customer just had his truck towed into my shop. Stated that he was going down the highway and engine was running fine, then rapidly began to lose power and shut down. This is what I see under the hood:

I'm not going to assume there is no damage to the engine at this point, but after I charged the battery and refilled it with oil the engine started RIGHT up with no noise, and is idling quiet and smooth.... Still going to have to clean it up, find the location of the oil leak, and do some additional load testing. I am working on uploading a video to our YouTube channel.

Interesting. So further inspection and work shows that something cut the edge of the belt. This allowed a part of the belt to get wrapped up behind the crank pulley, damaging the front seal. Loss of oil got the remaining part of the belt to get slick. The slick belt resulted in the alternator not charging, so the battery died while driving. THIS was the loss of power the customer experienced. It wasn't the engine seizing up, it was the low voltage caused the engine to finally start losing power and die. Engine lost 3.5 quarts of oil, but the engine is actually fine.
