2 days ago I changed out my oil pan gasket with rtv ultragrey, put in new oil(10w-30) and drove about 100 some miles, this morning on the way to work low oil pressure light comes on, oil level was good. When I idle up the light went off. Later cranked it up and the light wouldn't come on at all. Cranked it up again and the light stayed on no matter what the throttle and tried it again later and if only came on at low idle but not at high idle, oil is good coolant is good. Tomorrow I'm going to plug in a manual gauge to check pressure and then go from there. Any ideas what else it could be?

Also the motor only has 800 miles on it

Oil pressure is normal, noticed an oil puddle last night by the sensor cleaned it, rant it this morning and noticed it's leaking. Assuming the sensor is leaking and shorting out I am currently replacing the sensor

Bad oil switch fairly common on the 22RE.

I was worried because the timing lined up just right with me replacing the oil pan gasket, flushing coolant, and installing a bigger oil filter.

Plus it's a freshly rebuilt engine, less than 1k miles, I was worried the builder may have forgot an internal component

I deal with coincidences all the time. Makes your hair stand on end.
I was just worried you left a rag in the pan but didn't want to say anything untill you did your pressure check.
    Hope this settles the issue..

That's what I was worried about too or that I didn't let the rtv cute enough and clogged the oil pick up screen
