how to tell if a cb works...

i was cleanin up the workshop today and found an old old cb radio, it turns on and stuff but how can i find out if it works? also where in nc could i find a P/a that fits it

 

ever seen the movie joyride? They like boys with purdy lips on the radio.

just hook it up...should crackle and such if it still works....and you can get a p/a at a truck stop most likely.....if not, try a speaker shop or radio shack.

 

i did, it turns on keys up but i didnt pick up any other cbs i was wandering if it actually would work lol

i hope it does, my truck will then be a red neck dream... when i find a place to mount it
