come-a-long
I work with 95% boys, and the other day I asked them if any of them knew what a come-a-long was... So far 2 out of 20 knew! I couldn't believe it, and when trying to explain it, 6 of them knew what a winch was!! So I'm curious, how many people think that the majority of people they see everyday know what a come-a-long and a winch are!

I think most of my friends know what those are, but some of my coworkers would only know what a winch is (if they even knew what that was).

Yes I know what both are.. I own both. I'd say out of the guys I hang with outside work, 100% know what both are. At work, I'd say maybe 25%. I'm an engineer and I work with a lot of folks from other countries. Many don't even drive.

That's not fair really...
Just because they're men doesn't mean they're gonna know about that stuff. Not all men are into 4WD, offroading, towing, hauling, dirt, automobiles or other related things.
