200 celica brake drum removal?

cant seem to get the rear passenger brake drum off the old ladies car... got the driver side off no probs... the rear one has been staying engaged and is the main reason im changing them ... i tried opening the bleeder valve to relieve pressure but it still isnt moving

any ideas?

I've had drums stick and usually it is friction related (rust, brake shoes, etc..) I would try using a hammer and bang the drum (no pun intended) and see if it loosens up. It's worked for me in the past.

There are two bolt holes in the drum near the hub. What you do is put two bolts in these and tighten them one at a time. They will push the drum off the brake assembly.

thanks everyone got the drum off... now i cant get the shoes on b/c the e brake cotter pin isnt long enough and the ones that came with the new brakes are too thick and wont fit, thats what she said...
