What do you think about Kobalt toolboxes

The Mrs. said I can get a toolbox for the garage w/ some of the tax return. I went to Lowe's and saw some nice Kobalt setups. I know it's all about Snap-On, Matco, and all those high end stuff. But I'm looking for a rolling setup around $500. Thanks.

 

I like them. If it hold tools and looks like you want, get it!

 

Kobalts are cool for the money, it will hold your tools the same as a snapon will. I started out(for my job) with a kobalt and beat the crap out of it. It held up fine. I moved on to a snap on that rivals my mortgage payment, but really Its barely worth it. Actual tools on the other hand... thats a different story.

 

My brother in law has a Kobalt top chest that works great. He just has it sitting on his workbench though. I'd check out Costco and look at the CSPS boxes if they have any. I have a coworker who has 2 of those and they're really nice for the price. He got a stainless rolling cab and top chest for like $600, and it's the 44" wide or so.
