After months on TW im suprised I didnt notice this section before.

I purchsed my new home in may of 2012, with plans on building a garage right away. Everything came out better then I imagined.

Its done for now, got a few other projects to work on inside the house . Within the next few weeks Im going to be making some workbench space and adding some cabinets on the back wall.

Heres my build start to finish

    Enjoy TW

lol im still not finished with mine, the doors are 9' wide 7' high.

    garage is 25' wide 24' deep ...

Wish I could of made it deeper since I have a dbl cab LB but they way I did it was easiest and least expensive.

Man that looks so good. Great job and enjoy your beer. When my friends parents bought a place in riverside I went into their garage and boy was it huge.

Thanks guys , I did everything myself but the concrete , and the framing and sheething . Rest of finish and detail work I did myself .

It took alot of time , one thing I wish I had someone do is the taping inside . It really kicked my butt. But its all done now . Feels nice to park and work in a warm space .

You should coat the floor with a good epoxy coating or get www.racedeck.com

Ya I have liftmaster 3800 openers , they are nice . My favorite feature is how the motion sensors on the wall openers turn on the lights .

I have the floor coated with drylok wetlook sealer , its nice to sweep and claims to keep oils from soaking in .
I was shocked at the costs of epoxy flooring , plus I think it would just get trashed quick since I do actually do work in it .

Yes, that is what I put in my house a couple of years ago. Still no issues. The motion sensors are a nice little feature. I do want to get the back up batteries for power outages. I have a generator but it took a little bit of reading to figure out the disengagement and engagement procedure when the power went out for the first time.
