2001-2003 Land Rover Discovery

Things have come up and the Hummer needs to go some how. Gas has become too expensive to keep gas in it. I've been putting Regular in it almost ever since I got it. I found a Land Rover Discovery for sale its way cheaper, easier on gas, and has things I that are a plus. Like Solid Axle, 4.6L V8, and ALOT of room. Only problem is that its a Land Rover, which isn't very good reliability...

haha damn man, you get rid of vehicles a lot.

 

Your buying a truck Lents. If you want 40 MPG get a car man. Anything in the truck/suv area is gonna get poor gas mileage. You keep jumping into unreliable vehicles and it doesnt matter how good you think the gas mileage is on a Disco, the repetitive maintenance cost will ruin any savings you thought you'd get. Why not try a 4x4 Tacoma Regular Cab i4? Who gives a shit about passengers, theres enough room for you and a girl. My FJ's backseat isnt the best but I didnt buy it to drive people around, I bought it for my wife an I.

Damn Lents.....Those Discos arent that much better on gas. You know my friend matt with the 2001 Disco, that thing sucked on gas plus they take Premium gas so you would be in the same boat. The discos are heavy sumbitchs and they arent that room, your alittle taller than me and even i had issues with leg room in Discoverys. Dont buy a discovery. it wouldnt work out. plus those engines had head gasket problems, every single discovery needed the head gasket to be replaced. the one your looking at might have it done or might not, its expensive to fix

 

Uses no gas

 

Must be nice to get a new Vehicle every few months

 

Instead of a Disco get a Land cruiser fj 80, or a 3rd gen 4runner.

 

a Disco is NOT the way to go.
if something breaks, you're f**ked as far as the price of repair.
