    It doesn't surprise me a bit. In the article you will notice price has a lot to do with their decision, hence the phrase "Best car for the money in 2011". Quite a few of the winners were not rated best in glass. Beyond the best bang for the buck, my own personal findings were the truck's driving ergonomics were excellent, much better than my 09 Tacoma and gearing was more truck use oriented. If i had a dealer in my area, I would be driving one.

    That truck actually scored nice w/ the guys at C+D... Seems pretty solid from the review... I will stick with my Tacoma though...

    This actually may be the case. On the review page, this sentence came up. "Check out our Nissan deals page to see what discounts and incentives might be available on a Frontier" when stating that the Equator is just a rebadged Frontier.

    An Equator costs less than an identically equipped Frontier so there is some merit. Also many refuse to admit it but the Frontier comes with more options that the Tacoma doesn't even have and costs less doing so. Too bad it is so ugly and built for an old man.

    Right under the heading Other Trucks to Consider it says, "If you’re looking at the Equator, you also need to look at the Nissan Frontier. The Equator is a rebadged Frontier. Only cosmetic differences, a slight price difference and Suzuki’s longer warranty differentiate the two. They’re even built side-by-side in the same factory."
