getting new project car

    well. looks like i will be getting a new project car. Its prolly gonan be a 1988 mustang lx. its a 2.4l with a shit ton of miles. I wanna swap a v8 into it and restor it and all that fun stuff. Any one know of any good mustang forums? anyone else own a stang?

    svtperformance, and there is a fox body specific. My brother is a mustang owner... so I have to listen to his shit all the time. But svt has nice stuff over there man!

    i just cant decide on what powerplant to go with. the 351w block has a high nickle content which is good for performance builds, and the 302 is just a plane jane 302

    as far as i know its got intake, exhaust, some motor work, a bigger output alternator for his system, roll bar .... he still plans on a 5 lug conversion with disc brakes and cobra rims one of these days

    ^ thats a clean 5.0. mine is gonna need some fab work cause it started life as a 4 banger and im gonna turn it into a pushrod v8 monster lol. I have no clue where to start but I want it to end up looking like a gt. So i get a lot of body parts to buy.

    yea i tried to get him to buy the gt front bumper a few years ago but he wasnt having it

    if your talkin about a LS engine there aint a snow balls chance in hell a LS is going into my mustang......not enough weed in the world to get me to do that.....well maybe there is but i still aint doin that. Thanks for the rec. tho :D
