Tinted license plates cover?

    Bed Cap,K&N Air Filter,Chrome Pieces,Flowmaster Exhaust,Neon on inside, Heavy Duty Custom Floormats ( Tacoma ), Tint 20%, Blue license plate lights, Various decals, LED Projector Halos headlights, JVC head unit stereo
    Anyone have any advice on a good one? i heard there is one that from directly behind it, you cannot tell it is tinted, but from the side (angle that a camera would get you) it is blurred.

    Note, i honestly do not purposely run any red lights.. but i drive everyday in Baltimore City, MD and sometimes stopping is not an option and i do not feel like paying $70 for a simple mistake, so hopefully this thread doesnt get locked.

    I'm pretty sure it's illegal. Mythbusters tried it and couldn't do it, but I'm sure the right products are out there to make it work.

    I've seen films that go over laptop screens or cellphones that are slightly tinted from strait on and you can't see through it from an angle. Maybe just buy a clear cover and put the film over it?

    Feel free to keep the thread alive, but i talked to a few of my friends in the state im in and they said its not worth it.. the ticket for having one of those is more expensive than the light catching you. thanks for the replies tho

    I cannot speak for what MD's laws say, but here in PA anything that obscures or covers any part of the plate (clear, frames, etc)I suggest that you check with you locality (MD staties are tough BTW) before getting a cover.
