Anybody running one? Preferably 2nd gen.

I've been thinking of buying one.

^^ Nice. Thats exactly what I want. My mpg isnt the greatest to begin with, so I doubt a net will hurt me that much if any.

Something is wrong in that video. Those guys said 5 gallons an hour traveling at 55mph. Do the math, that comes to 11 mpg. That looks like an F150. That just doesn't seem right.

On another note; a friend of mine took his tailgate off his F250 and a few years down the road discovered the bed had cracked at the welds in both corners. Lack of tailgate allowed the sides to vibrate at the back. Maybe not an issue the way Tacomas beds are made now, who knows.

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
It's the wind hitting the tailgate when it's down that causes the drag.
