Just wondering? Years ago I was taught to stay away from any gas stations that were not mainstream like little mom and pop type places due to the fact that the major brands had additives to keep injectors clean and the little guys didn't therefore keeping the prices competitive with the big boys. IDK if this holds true or not? Also the fact that I usually get $.10 off per gallon for using the grocery stores with the customer cards. Are they trustworthy? I know Kroger's pumps ask if you want to spend extra to get the additives. So do you use the grocery store gas?

I only put Shell and Marathon/Speedway midgrade in. Everything else runs through my car like water and it doesn't run nearly as well.

So do any of you believe or have any knowledge about the additives and buying from say Kroger? I'm just wondering if I'm making a mistake buying their gas to save $.10 a gallon.

I try to always fill up at Quiktrip. I've never had a bad experience with the people that work there, and for that I will give them my business as regularly as I can.

I like QT but I hate it for the fact they are always so damn busy and sometimes have to wait to get to a pump.

I always get Shell, and occasionally get chevron. But Shell is right down the road. And I think shell and Chevron are my best options. Im not getting gas somewhere where it's a good bit cheaper, ex Raceway. I just dont like getting gas at those places. There has to be a reason its cheaper. Idk I'd rather pay the extra 20-50cents for the "better" gas then get that Raceway/grocery store shit. But thats me.
