F150- 60% American - - - Tacoma- 70% I also like the fact that the Toyota is non union made which to me means better quality. If a auto worker does poor work he can be replaced with someone who takes pride in their work which means better quality trucks. Buy the way, I worked 27 years for a union company and saw my dues promote laziness and most of the dues going to a political party.

I agree and no government bailout. If Ford made a mid size truck it would give the Tacoma serious competition.

X2 Its free to test drive the Ecoboost. I have , the4x4 & 2wd they are fast MF'ers If you can get them to throw in the 100k bumper to bumper Its a killer deal. Pal in Ga. has 8000 mi on his now and is still doing f150 ecoboost backflips. Go drive one for yourself.. Jim

my dad has an 01 Ford F-150 crew cab with about 240k miles, the only big things he had to replace is the front ball joints and the alternator. He also had a new A/C unit put in after about 20k but I guess it was one of those things that was just a bad part. It was covered under the warranty though.

Still, if you take into account your personal habits and uses for your truck and then you add in resale value and you add it the fact that its a full size vs a Mid size (full Size unnecessary to me) Its a clear cut for me personally. i would still take a 2011 Tacoma SC over a Ford F150 EcoBoost. Looks better anyway. :)

Good idea BTW comparing a 6 year old engine with a one year old one. Awesome.
