Thought some of you might enjoy this build:

I bought it with a worn out 305sbc/350t . I started with a rattle can paint job and put in a sbc 327 and a nice 700r4 with vett servos and shift kit.

I talked to a metal fab buddy of mine about changing around the motor mounts. About 30 mins later we came to the conclussion that we should build a new frame! Not done yet but close.

The newest ones are of the truck slammed on the ground (pic 11,13,14)
    enjoy

yea its staying slamed. Pic #11 is the closest pic. Once I fininsh the 4 link the back will come up a bit , so it will sit flush.
Im going to paint it. Im thinking dark gun metal flat or satin. A little two tone dark browninsh - burnt gold, kind of a dark OD brown. Gloss black wheels and black enginge block. I dont know about the frame yet ...probably black. With white walls of course!

Thanks guys! After the floor is done we will be building a roll cage and updating the door latches. I decided to go with the BearJaw slim line latches and strikers. After that we have to space out a gas tank under the bed and re work the roof. The roof will be all aluminum and (hopefully) seamless.
