    Oh yeah. I guess with everyone trying to get a safe, styling and fuel efficient cars the demand really went up for Corolla's; and the dealers know it. The bastards. I was trying to buy an 09 Corolla with ~40k and it was going to cost me 15k. Ridiculous. I bought my DCLB Tacoma for less than that (not new, by owner)

    I used Overstock and beat the shit out of the dealership; I also had a trade.

    Either way, I was just shocked how much the demand for these has spiked the prices.
