most of the Chevy's from the early 60's to about 1972 are worth owning if in good shape.

Stellar restored or survivor examples may require a mortgage though. :D

Not sure if this has been covered but a G8 isn't a muscle car, it's a sedan. Also I would only call it a muscle car if there was only a V8 option, like the Corvette, GTO, Thunderbird, Viper, GT40. ( I know the Viper & GT40 are "super cars" with a V10 but I can't stand a sports car with a V6).

So no muscle in this car at all. Who gives a shit if it has four doors. IF they take down Z06 vettes with no problem, i would consider it a muscle car.
Yes i own a blown G8, and there is no stock mustang gt, or even the SRT8 garbage that can touch me.
And to add, its built in Aussie by Holden Racing. Look up Holden HSV W427.

I just trying to prove to the gentlemen above, that four doors mean nothing when it comes to Horsepower/muscle.
Hell, all NASCARS are based on four door sedans! Just saying! :D

Oh I get what you're saying, and completely agree that doors/vehicle type make no difference, but I wouldn't worry about someone busting your balls over semantics. I don't know that anything is necessarily considered a "muscle car" these days. Some will call the Mustangs, Camaros, etc that, then someone else will come in and say no it's a pony car. I always considered the G8 a sport sedan. Not saying that's right, just the way I see it. You can take a 500hp BMW M5, I don't know that anyone could classify that as a "muscle car". I mean, I can see the other guys point too. Don't have to call something a "muscle car" to mean something is fast as shit.

Hell someone said Corvette above as the muscle car they would own. Now wouldn't that be a sports car? lol. I wouldn't get bent out of shape about what someone classifies, or doesn't classify a car as. You can have really fast performance vehicles in all sorts of vehicle classes. Now, if he said your car was slow, that's another story.;)

: any of a group of American-made 2-door sports coupes with powerful engines designed for high-performance driving

btw, the Camaro is actually defined as a Pony car not a Muscle car.

Didn't mean to offend you about your G8, I'm sure it's an ok ride but it's not a muscle car as the title states.
