Been Looking At Chevy Equinox

I've been looking into a Chevy Equinox as a future car for my wife. I was originally all set on V6 for power cause I want it to be plenty capable here in the Ozarks (lots of hills). I'm noticing they have fuel mileage similar to our Tacomas. The 4 cylinders get close to 30 mpg with 182hp/172lb-ft torque. Will the four cylinder be powerful enough to handle uphills well? How about passing on an uphill? I am looking at the AWD version as well.

 

A lady I work with has one. I can check with her and see what she thinks if you want.
Prob best thing would be like whipper said and test drive one. Also check out reviews of them.

 

Go to Edmunds.com and then to forums. Check the SUV topic and then the Equinox. Way to many problems with this vehicle. I also considered one for my wife, until those that have posted there.
