    I spent 3 years working in a honda service department. Those transmissions are easy to work on. Should be able to replace/rebuild for a couple hundred bucks. Did it just stop pulling altogether?

    Called my mechanic and he said around 300$ used.

    And trust me, civics are EASY to install a tranny. Even without a lift it isn't that big of a job.

    Nope...a mechanic I know. I thought it sounded high but I figured I'd come to Tacomaworld and see if there was anyone who knew anything about them. I come to this place for everything! lol

    I know it's an automatic...but thats all I know. I'm in North Dakota and she's back home in Alabama. She wouldn't have a clue what to look for.

    My dad had the auto trans rebuilt in an old del sol for a few hundred bucks. It wasn't engaging reverse. It only required basic hand tools to pull out of the car.
